DERIVATIVE ANALYSIS FOR 7 OCTOBER 2014

Overview

India Indices- On Wednesday Nifty index opened down at 7960.50 with -4.30 points down from the previous day closing  at 7964.80 and closed negative at 7945.55.  Nifty opened only 4.30 points down and the full day we saw  normal movement in Nifty, near 12.00 o’clock Nifty Index  traded with the day low of 7936.70 and after that Nifty  recovered and near the closing Nifty traded with the day high  of 7977.50 closed negative at 7945.55 with -0.24%, -19.25 points down.  And the full day Nifty Index traded between 7977.50-7936.70.  At the end of the day Nifty futures Loosed -0.19%,  -15.50 points down to close at 7983.65 from the previous day closing at 7999.15 with daily premium of 38.10 points and  percent change in open interest of -0.40%. 

Bank Nifty –Bank Nifty index opened at 15370.70 with  -21.55 points down from the previous day closing at 15392.25  and closed negative at 15316.20. On Wednesday market Bank Index opened negative and the  full market day we saw normal movement near 12.00 o’clock  Bank Index traded with the day low of 15270.95 but till the closing Bank Index moved up but closed negative at 15316.20  from the previous day closing with the day low of 15270.95 with -0.49%, -76.05 points down, and the full day Bank Nifty Index traded between 15377.60-15270.95.  At the end of the market day Bank Nifty futures Loosed  -0.58%, -89.80 points down to close at 15385.60 from the  previous day closing at 15475.40 with the daily premium of  +69.40 points and percent change in open interest of  -1.07%.
