UPDATES ON DERIVATIVE FOR 1 OCTOBER 2014

Overview

India Indices- On Tuesday market day Nifty index opened  down at 7948.80 with 37.10 points down from the previous  day closing at 7958.90 and closed positive at 7964.80.  Due to Credit Policy of RBI we saw hyper movement in Nifty,  Nifty opened 37.10 points down and near 12.30 o’clock Nifty Index traded with the day high of 8030.90 but near the  closing Nifty slipped down but closed positive at 7964.80 with  the day low of 7923.80 with +0.07%, +5.90 points up.  And the full day Nifty Index traded between 8030.90-7923.85.  At the end of the day Nifty futures Loosed -0.06%,  -4.40 points down to close at 7989.50 from the previous day  closing at 7993.90 with daily premium of 24.70 points and  percent change in open interest of +4.76%.

Bank Nifty –Bank Nifty index opened at 15441.35 with  -32.20 points down from the previous day closing at 15473.55  and closed negative at 15392.25. Due to RBI Credit Policy we saw hyper movement in Bank Nifty Bank Index opened negative but we saw recovery in  Bank Index and near 12.45 o’clock Bank Index traded with the  day high of 15596.10 but till the closing Bank Index slipped  down and closed negative at 15392.25 with the day low of  15336.70 with -0.53%, -81.30 points down, and the full day Bank Nifty Index traded between 15596.10-15336.70.  At the end of the market day Bank Nifty futures Loosed  -0.56%, -87.35 points down to close at 15455.00 from the  previous day closing at 15542.35 with the daily premium of  +62.75 points and percent change in open interest of  +1.34%.

Nifty Futures- Nifty futures opened down at 7981.00 with  12.90 points down from the previous day closing at 7993.90.  From the opening we saw recovery in nifty, 12.30 o’clock  Nifty futures traded with the day high of 8084.00 and this level we saw profit booking in Nifty but till the closing Nifty  slipped down with hyper selling and closed at 7989.50 with  the day low of 7962.50, with -4.40 points down from the  previous day closing at 7993.90. And the full day Nifty  Futures traded between 8084.00-7962.50. At the end of the day Nifty futures Loosed -0.06%,  -4.40 points down to close at 7989.50 from the previous day  closing at 7993.90 with daily premium of 24.70 points and percent change in open interest of +4.76%.
